Kihímeznéd karácsonyig? - Would you stitch it? - Giveaway

Közeleg a karácsony, hímzős szemmel mindenképpen, s ezért játékra invitállak benneteket. Ha szívesen kihímeznéd karácsonyig a képen látható a terítőt (83x83 cm a mérete, és ugyanaz a minta ismétlődik mind a négy sarkában), hagyj egy kommentet ennél a bejegyzésnél. Nem kell, hogy rendszeres olvasóm legyél, viszont ha megteszed, hogy hírdeted a játékot a blogodon, nagyon fogok örülni neki. Hadd jusson el a játék több emberhez. Határidő: 2010. november 12 éjfél. Kincsek - Treasures

Borongósnak indult a mai nap, de végül mégis kisütött a nap. Ha nem is az égen, hát itt nálunk igen, hiszen amikor hazaértem a postaládában várt egy barna boríték tele szebbnél szebb kincsekkel. Carol giveaway ajándéka érkezett meg. Fonalak, anyagok, minták, csokoládé és egy gyönyörű kis párna. Legszivesebben most azonnal nekiállnék hímezni! :)

Today started as a sad, grey day, but finally in the afternoon the sun started to shine. No, not on the sky, but here, at our place. How is it possible? When I arrived home there was a big brown envelope waiting for me in the mailbox and inside were the most wonderful giveaway prizes from Carol. An envelope full of treasures: threads, fabrics, charts, chocolate and a lovely autumn ornament. If only I could start stitching right now... :)

Mókusok - Squirrels

Ismét egy Prairie Schooler képet mutatok, ami ezúttal az ősz jegyében készült. Hímeztem már ebből a sorozatból egy részletet tavasszal, most azonban szeretném mindkét képet kihímezni.

Mókusokkal kapcsolatban pedig sok kedves emlékem van: gyerekkoromban egy nyaralás alkalmával bemásztak a táskánkba egy kis nápolyiért, egy másik alkalommal pedig a kezünkből ették a mogyorót, és amikor elfogyott, még hosszú ideig jöttek utánunk.

Another Prairie Schooler finish, this time in the spirit of the autumn. I have already stitched a piece from the Woodland Sampling series, but now I would like to stitch both designs as a whole.

About squirrels I have lots of nice memories. During a holiday in the mountains they jumped into our bags looking for some napolitaners, and much later they were following us for a long time even after we run out of peanuts.

... de én már a karácsonyra készülődök, legalábbis ami a hímzéseket illeti. Mivel nagyon szeretem a Prairie Schooler képeket, ismét egy ilyet választottam. Még van három másik kép ebben a sorozatban, mindegyiken a Mikulás és erdei barátai vannak. Lehet, hogy egyszer mindet kihímezem? :)

I am already preparing for Christmas, at least with my stitching. I am really addicted to Prairie Schooler designs, so I picked this one from "Woodland Santas". There are three more designs with Santa and his friends in the woods. Maybe on day I stitch them all? :)

Őszi biscornuk - Autumn biscornus

SAL - Joyeux Noël (2)

Elkészültem a minta felével. Sokféle, különleges öltés van ebben a mintában, érdekes volt őket hímezni a Michelle-től kapott, s általa festett anyagra. Már nagyon várom a második, egyben befejező részt, mert annyi, de annyi tervem van/lenne még karácsonyig. Bárcsak időm is lenne annyi :)

I have finished the first half of the pattern and now waiting to receive the second part. This pattern has a lot of special stitches and I love stitching them on this lovely fabric that I got from Michelle. I would like to finish stitching this picture soon, as I have so many other plans until Christmas. If only I would have more time, too :)
